GENERAL TOOLS ANNOUNCES NEW HANDHELD DIGITAL CARBON MONOXIDE METER
New meter features Auto Zero, Auto Calibration and Adjustable Alarm Settings
General Tools & Instruments Company, a leading supplier of specialty hand tools for the Plumbing, HVAC, Hardware and Woodworking industries, announces the release of its new handheld digital CO (Carbon Monoxide) meter, model DCO1001.
The battery operated DCO 1001 features a new electromechanical CO sensor with 3 points of auto calibration: 0, 100 and 500 ppm. The meter has a Backlit LCD Display and simultaneously exhibits Dual Readings of CO and Max Hold, updated every second. Other features include High Repeatability, Auto Zero, Adjustable Alarm Settings, and an Audible Alert which triggers above 35ppm to indicate a dangerous CO concentration.
The extremely affordable DCO 1001 has a measuring range of 0-1000 ppm and comes complete with a soft case, a wrist strap, 3 "AAA" batteries and an instruction manual. This new CO meter is part of the Mannix Instruments acquisition by General Tools Manufacturing Co., LLC. With the acquisition of Mannix Instruments, General Tools Manufacturing Co., LLC has changed its name to General Tools and Instruments Co, LLC and the Mannix instruments will be integrated into the General Tools and Instruments product line.
